Black and White Landscapes from Ireland
I specialize in black and white landscapes from Ireland. The images in the gallery are broken down into four categories:-
- Bays, Beachs, Cliffs and Coves.
- Mountains, Lakes and Rivers.
- Places, Buildings and Objects.
- Trees, Plants and flowers
Using high-end digital cameras to capture the images and then converting to black & white. During this conversion processs the image is transformed into the prints I had visualised before releasing the camera shutter.
The images on this website are a low resolution copy of the fully proofed prints. Their appearance of the images on your computer screen may not show the full detail of the prints.

Fine Art Prints
Using the very latest technology's to produce stunning Black & White Photographs. Digitaly printed, with a lightfastness of over 100 years, onto Fibre Base Gloss paper the images have a smooth tonel range with deep rich blacks. The prints are a Limited Edition of 50 and will be signed and numbered and matted onto 20x16 double mounts or as a Print only option.

MIssion Statement
I am an Artist not a Photographer.
I don't take photographs, I make images.
I live on the island of Ireland with over one and a half thousand kilometers of coast line, and hundards of lakes rivers and mountains. Mother nature has shaped the landscape into what we see today. Through the medium of black & white photography I have captured this wounderful shape, form and texture. We see in colour but through the art of visualization I see the final image with the deep rich blacks of the shadows down to the whites of the clouds. I do not add or takeaway from the image I capture but use what is there in front of me. I may have to wait for hours or even days until I am happy with the final photograph.
My work has just begun.
Viewpoints
"one location, different interpretations"
Myself, Carsten Krieger and Peter Cox have joined together to form a group call "Viewpoints" with the end result of this project to publish a book.
Several planned trips to the National Parks around Ireland with each of us bringing a different eye and photographic style.
This will be a very interesting, different, next couple of years until the end of the project.
